It's been lovely to have your comments in the last post, thank you.I have been busy working on this embroidery over the last few days.
You can see I have enjoyed playing with the patterns in this landscape.
I have propped it up against the sewing machine so you can get an idea of size.
I do love artist's who use pattern in their work.
One artist that I admire, among many, is John Piper
John Piper designed the Baptistery Window at Coventry Cathedral, a representation of the holy spirit.
If you have time, do look at his gallery of work, he was a man of many talents.

Is there any felting in the top or did you just drag some fibers over the top and top sew them down? Wondering?
