Hello,
We have had a busy week, my husband started a new job, at last!
My son has had sats tests all this week, he is in his last term of primary school.
A time for reflection, looking at his school photo's, where has that time gone?
I sketched the tree in our garden on Saturday, I hope to work this as a stitched piece.
The Patterns In The Sky is a new little picture, the weather this week inspired me, bright and windy although today was rubbish, dull, grey and cold.

It's beautiful. The texture in the sky is wonderful. You can almost feel the wind blowing.
Your patterns in the sky piece is fantastic. I love the swirling clouds.
Wonderful movement in the stitched piece. I shall look forward to seeing the textile work of the drawn tree.

A busy time for your family at the moment. Hope all goes well for everyone. The weather is truly awful isn't it ..... so blah! Love the tree piece - great movement, and your tree drawing is brilliant!
Hope your husband is enjoying his new job and your son gets the results he wants in his sats. I love the stitched tree and your sketch is beautiful too.
That's me favourite design yet - the colour combinations are just beautiful. I love the movement in the sky - it reminds me of Van Gogh. Emma x

The little picture is beautiful, I love the clouds and those colours are just perfect.
I hope your husband like his new job and hope that your son takes his SATS in his stride.
Your textile work is so amazing. I love it all.
Your latest piece and your tree drawing are both very beautiful. I can see a progression in your work which is very interesting. I love your latest embroidery and if the rotten weather inspired that beautiful stitched piece then roll on more grey dull and grotty weather!!!
