Trees In My Dreams

A sunny day today, so I was able to photograph my embroidery outside.
I love how the sun catches the sheen on the threads.
This afternoon I had a sort out in my sewing room, long over due!
The trouble is I get distracted and start playing with the different threads I come across.
You can see some more photo's on my flickr page
I will post some photo's soon and I will do Shopping List Saturday on Sunday, I better start looking now!

This is a truly beautifully stitched piece - love it very much. Love the colours, textures and the sheen. It's so delightful - a Spring day!

This really is dream like and I see what you mean about the sun catching the threads.

This is so wonderfully dreamy. It seems that your work get more and more expressive with each passing piece, if thats even possible!

Your work is not merely beautiful. It is subtle, denouncing a very truthful poet. Some of your works reminds me some poems from one of our major contemporary poets: EugĂ©nio de Andrade. In our language there exit a word for my feeling “saudade”. There is no translation to another language. If you want, its meaning is close to your (and ours) word “melancholia” without the sadness and full of hope.
Thank you.
