Over the weekend I made these brooches.
My starting point was pictures of tree blossoms and I played around with different views.
I settled on this angle, as if I was sitting in the branches!
They almost became abstract in design and definitely a Japanese feel to them.
I have also started on a another landscape embroidery which I hope to show you in the week.

I would so love to learn how to make these brooches - do wish you could run an on-line class - I am sure you would get enough takers to make it worth while.

I agree with Weaver, maybe you should do one of those "you tube" things?
I am intrigued to see how you create your artworks. I love anything Japanese and blossom always reminds me of that.
