A Walk In The Snow And Time To Stitch

Step Into The Olive Grove

Trees In Snow

Kenilworth Casle In the Snow

Views On Our Walk

Today we had no school and no work.
We awoke to heavy snow and the children were so excited.
So here are some pictures of our walk around Kenilworth Castle.
I took lots of pictures and I'm sure I will use quite a few as ideas for my sketch book.
I was excited because I could spend some time on my sewing.
For this piece of work I went back to my sketch book, drawings of an olive grove from our holiday.
Quite a contrast to our white landscape.
Hope your having a good week and keeping warm.

Beautiful work, it seems as if one could walk through the olive grove. Just wondered if you had thought of framing these as art instead of brooches.

Oh it's such a delight to see photos of somewhere you know! Kenilworth looks so lovely..if a little cold. I like your olive grove too, it feels so warm and Mediterranean. Do you do exhibitions at all?

I didn't think you could make them more beautiful, but every time I see a new one they just seem to be getting better and better. Just magical!

Your olive grove trees seem very warm compared to the cold landscape we are experiencing!

Oh! I had forgotten how wonderful Kenilworth castle can look in the snow. I used to live in Rugby and work in Leamington often taking my own children to the castle.
Your work is amazing, I'm so pleased to have found your blog. I will put a link to your blog on mine for all to see. Keep up the good work.
