Pink Tree In The Snow

Yes this is quite literally a pink tree in the snow, on top of our rabbit hutch and you may just see the snow flakes.
Here in Kenilworth we escaped most of the heavy snow although it is snowing now.
The children were quite disappointed that they could get to school and so was I!
February 2nd always makes me think of the film Ground Hog Day, my thirteen year old loves it.
May be tomorrow we can get snowed in and I can stay at home and stitch all day.

Your pink tree in the snow is beautiful. I was meant to have a preparation and planning day today of lesson notes and samples but instead have been distracted by the snow!

That's beautiful - it reminds me of the stunning ink sunsets we've been having this winter. Your work is a treat to look at!

Stunning broach, I think it captures that magical glistening effect that the snow has. Truly magical. Although there was snow by us today and quite a lot of it,we still had to journey into school much to mine and the pupils dismay. Fingers crossed tomorrow will be different for you too.

I've tagged you and I hope you play along. You need to post about the sixth photograph in your sixth folder and write the stoy behind the picture and tag six people to do the same.More details on my blog if you would hop across.
I hope you get to stay home and sew.

I love your trees... all of them! This one evokes cupcakes and sugarplums. I hopefully took my current project to work with me, hoping for a slow day and an opportunity to stitch, but our snow was no more than a blanket to cool my toes.

Oooh, interesting - your tree in snow, my tree with buds in snow...

The English snow is all over the news in Sweden! Although - across from my flat there's a snow hill all the way up to the 1st floor. After plowing, all these snow hills and mountains, on the lawns nearly knee-deep snow and in the midst of all this a tree with catkins!

If you matted and framed it, it would be perfect for a baby's nursery.

My cousin's due in May and she's been eyeing whimiscal stuff like this. I'll definitely point her over here!
