Hello,
This tree is a custom order.
A friend of mine was in an art gallery and she was wearing one of my brooches.
She was approached by a lady who asked where she had got it and to cut a long story short, the lady visited my blog and ordered two tree brooches and a flower.
When she had received the brooches she contacted me again for another, which I finished last night.
So this blog post is for her to see if this brooch is OK and to say thank you so much.
My Olive tree embroidery will be for an art exhibition in the summer.
Thanks for all the lovely comments.
I do hope to add some art pieces to etsy soon, perhaps half term week If I can.

What a lovely thing to happen for you. Congratulations. Its not surprising. the brooch is beautiful.
They say wearing items and the word of mouth follow on is the best form of advertising your work and getting it seen, proof here!
beautiful work, not surprised the lady ordered more. Your olive piece will be fab in the exhibition too ;0
I love the way you draw your inspirations from nature and things around you... lovely work indeed.
Well done, I’m not surprised though you brooches are beautiful and stunning!
Have a lovely weekend and half term…love Lou xxx
I love the way your tree has frosty, filigree edges. Each one unique.
Well done with securing the commissions.
What a cool story! Nice to have a 'success'. Your work is so detailed and interesting. Is the ice tree an observation of your current surroundings? :-)
congratulations!! You work is amazing. It looks amazing in pictures, but (I feel honored to say it) they look even more beautiful in real life. XX
That's wonderful...and so well deserved! Now,if she wears them and someone asks where she got them from...you will be one busy lady!
What would be lovely would be if you were to run an on line course in how to make these brooches. Have you ever thought of doing anything like that? Not sure how the paying for it would work, but people do it, so there must be a way.
