Lace Tree Brooch
I'm back from London after a lovely, busy few days with my sister.
This will be a short post as my daughter needs the computer for revision as she has mock exams this week and next.
Thank you if you took part in my give away, my daughter selected numbers out of the bag and the brooch will be on it's way to Anne, http://cardinalarts.blogspot.com/ and I'm sending post cards to filz-t-raum.ch http://filz-t-raumundherzensdinge.blogspot.com/ as a runner up prize.
I hope they will not take too long to get there because I'm sure the airmail post will be delayed due to the flight ban in most of Europe.
I also must say thank you to Helen of http://helen-lambert.blogspot.com/ who kindly sent me some wool which I hope to use in a textile project soon.
I will post London pictures sometime this week.
Lastly a brooch made from fragments of lace.

Hi Kayla, lovely to see the pic of your artwork displayed at the Herbert Gallery, well done.
The latest brooches are adorable and the combination of lace and stitching really works. Bye for now, Lesley
