Fabric Art

A new brooch or small picture I made today.
It's made entirely from recycled fabrics an old blanket, wool coat, vintage fabrics and threads.
I am obsessed at turning discarded textiles into, I hope, something beautiful.
Trouble is I'm living amongst piles of fabrics!

Your small pieces are "master pieces".

I know the feeling about the scraps. I'll bet my piles are bigger than yours since my project is working toward being 9'x 7'
;-)

This is a problem? :)

Making use of recycled materials is a great creative challenge. Good for you.

ooh beautiful! I love turning the unwanted into art or useful things. I recently got into mosaics...so as well as piles of old fabric, it's old crockery...I need another room!! :)
