Inspired By Threads

Hi,
This week I am off work for half term week, although I was at school yesterday helping students with their GCSE exam projects.
I found this bag of threads I had forgotten about which I just love, even in this tangled mess!
The purple tree above will become a tree brooch and work is progressing on this art piece of an orange tree from an idea in my sketch book.
I yearn for blue skies and warm sunshine and it seems to be influencing my choice of colours.
Hope your having a good week.

Finding your bog was such bliss - and I would not have done so had you not posted a comment on mine; for which thankyou. If you saw the long roof-space low under the beams of our old house, where only I am short enough to stand upright, you would know that thread and yarn are a part of me (yarn overflows up there), even though I tend to write about paper at the moment.

Now I will be following your glorious stitched creations.

The orange tree is gorgeous - it reminds me of medieval italian paintings. Whenever I visit it's such a yummy experience - just your header gets me all excited!

Can I just add my small squeak to the voices of the masses? I like the colours in this a lot. I also love the drawing/painting you've done in the next posting. It's wonderful!
