Etsy and Felt

Hi,

Yesterday I managed to open a etsy shop, I was very proud of myself as I have always avoided anything to do with computers!

To my amazement I sold a flower just after listing it.

There has been so much in the news recently of the credit crunch I had not been too hopeful.

Well at least I sold one and it's on its way to America.

It also means I can buy some lovely hand made gifts, now I have got the hang of it all!

Also another first, I did the pro thing on flickr.

Now I can stop deleting photo's to add more!

I also was able to put some links on my blog , thank you Konny

Here are some felt flowers I made today.

The pink one I made for my sister to match her outfit for a wedding.

She will be wearing it in her hair.

Hope your having a good week and now I must tidy up my mess, threads, threads and more threads!

Well done Kayla..what a fab feeling it is to sell so quickly like that. It happened to me once..I listed a brooch, went in the kitchen and whne I loked again it had gone. Your flowers are fab. Thank you for the ring suggestion..its a god idea but I already have a thing I wear all the time round my neck. I would really like to sell it.

A second comment? Well I just remembered how I wanted a set of photos of things from my etsy shop on my blog for ages but didn't know how to do it. Then one day I logged in to etsy and 'your etsy' and mooched about and found a thing called etsy mini..which was what I'd been looking for all along! Thought I'd share in case you wanted it too.
