Drawing,Painting And Stitching.

A busy week, sketching.

Trying out pattern ideas with stitches.
Working from my sketch book.
I wanted to try working on some small pictures.
So I decided to use my colourful sketch of woodland.
This one measures 11.5 cm by 15cm.
I will continue with a few more hand stitches, I'm just going with flow and I'm not sure yet how I will display it.
I have noticed that it's getting slightly lighter in the evenings, at last!

This is lovely work. I like the way tou put it on the sewing machine to give it scale. We have the same machine. Simple but sturdy.I love it.
I stitched through some self adhesive velcro patches recently though and nearly wrecked it. The glue was so sticky it stuck to the needle and went down into the 'mysterious area' underneath.

I like this new look...and yes, I see the sketchbook painting come alive on the fabric. Is it wool?
Very very good work...love all the stitches and thread colors.
