When I was young

I was always a creative child.

When I was about nine I started making peg dolls.

Lots of them.

My aunt worked as a buyer for Jaeger and used to bring me small samples of Liberty fabrics that I could use in my creations.

I still have these strange little people.

I used to make the hair from the tassels of old lampshades!

So I thought I would share them and yes they are around 31 years old!

Have you anything you made as a child?

This is a comment from my daughter:
'I've made peg doll angels, but they weren't as pretty as this. You've made loads! I'm going to get mummy to do them with me again. I'm going to try to make my faces as nice as yours. I couldn't do mine very well.' xx Phaedra.

I think she likes them as much as I do! Thank you for sharing them!
