Work In Progress New Landscape

Last night I started on a new landscape, again working from my sketch book.
I am building up my layers of fibers and then working over the top with stitches.
I am stitching as I would draw or paint.
You never know at this stage how it will develop.
Fingers crossed it will work!

Pleased to see you use a Bernina - where would we be without them?

Your drawings look so much like your embroideries, always lovely and full of movement and subtle colour. I just read about the school holiday dilemma, that used to happen to us all the time! My husband taught in one county and our sons went to school in another, we lived on the boundary.

The sketches, paintings and design drawings always facinate me.
Perhaps you should consider offering these with the finished works?
