The Warwickshire Countryside

This week I have walked and I have walked, yesterday about seven miles .
The weather has been beautiful ,warm sunshine with a cool breeze, great for exploring our local countryside.

There are many walks to follow around Kenilworth Castle, through fields and ancient woods.

You will see how it influences my art work, I took so many pictures, too many for this blog post.
The dog is our Labrador Bertie, good excuse for walks!

I was admiring your beautiful photos on flickr earlier. I can see where you get your inspiration from and your sketch is wonderful, of the yellow fields I think. I hope this turns into a lovely stitched piece

Have a very happy weekend - Carolyn

Like everbody else I'm curious about the first photograph? Those white stripes- what are they, all very surreal and intriguing. What a beautiful place you live in, I'm sure 7miles would be nothing if you were walking amidst such beauty.

Beautiful photos, Kayla! What are the lovely yellow flowers in the last one? And, by the way, a handsome pup too!

The weather has been amazing hasn't it? I am sure my dog Ted would love Bertie, his best friends are labradors. Your countryside looks beautiful, very inspiring.

Hi Kayla coo
this is beautiful countryside you are walking in.
Is the stripe plastic over a crop?

Hello,
The white lines are plastic sheeting they have put down to cover the seeds, I think it acts also like a green house to help the seeds germinate and to protect from birds.
