Tree Pattern Brooches

I love playing with pattern and yesterday I made these tree brooches.
I still have to finish the backs so a bit more sewing to go.
Looking out the window it seems to be a good day to stay in , we have dark clouds, high winds and rain.
I was going to try and get some gardening done, never mind it looks like I may just have to stitch instead!

To me these two have an Art Deco look about them. They are beautiful.
Do stay indoors, I've just been gardening very cold wind.

Lovely stuff again - keep warm. Here in North Yorkshire it is freezing cold with flurries of hail and snow.

Beautiful colours in these brooches. I wish I could stay indoors and stitch but I have to load my car in the rain and then think about a ferry crossing in all this wind. Maybe it will have died down by the morning!

Hello Kayla - me again! Would you (or anyone else for that matter) like to be part of this: It's called "Something for Free" and it started with my friend Ali: http://mistressdebrina.blogspot.com/

Gorgeous as ever..I love the blue and red colour combo..

I find it's probably for the best to leave the garden for a few more months just to let it recover from winter and then you can see what's what...(that is my excuse and I'm clinging to it!)
xxx;)
