Sketching Stitches

This week I'm working in my sketch book.
I'm experimenting and developing my composition, looking closely at how I relate to my landscapes, how do they make me feel and how can I become a part of them?
I have finished my last piece for the exhibition which is a great relief and now I have some time to tidy my mass of jumbled threads!

you must be both elated and relieved that you've hit your deadline, and now have time to recoup and re-gather!

I so love the colours that you use- I feel it's colour that attracts us first, I know when I'm buying to re-sell I always think that if the colour is "right" then the item is right.

Enjoy today

It must feel very liberating to be at this stage after all your hard work. Well done.

Your exhibition is bound to create a lot of interest - hope you aren't too exhausted. Love this drawing - those graceful, sinuous lines of tree trunks and branches are so beautiful. Gorgeous colours too.

That's a lovely interwoven cradle of branches around the internal space. Will your sketchbooks be part of the exhibition too?
