Surreal Embroidery

Here are some more colourful trees I have been working on for the exhibition.
I have been dip dying various wool pieces, I'm always excited at seeing the variety of colours I can get by using just a few colours.
I have worked in some lovely old silk threads on these little trees.
On Monday I will be in Stratford to help get the exhibition ready, it starts on Tuesday 9th of June.
How quickly that date has come around!
I'm just a touch nervous, hoping it will be enjoyed.
I must say thank you to Annabel Rainbow because without her I would not have been able to take part and she will be manning it with her friend and fellow artist Annabel Shirt.
I won't be there until the Saturday and the Sunday.
I promise to take lots of pictures.

The tree is wonderful! btw It's a pleasure to have you with us, and fingers crossed for a successful week. It will be interesting to see whether June (tourists) is a better time for visitors than October (pre-christmas) I'm looking forward to catching up on Monday and hearing all about the Open, as well.

Wow - I love the trees! I'll have to check out the Leamington Art Gallery in the near future - is it the one by the Library?

Hi Kayla, your designs are so gorgeous! I'm a fellow blogger in Leamington Spa who found you through a comment on my site, so I wanted to stop by yours as well. Hopefully I can make it to one of your shows sometime!

I'm a tree person too!!! Love your interpretations!!

I found you through your comment at Ravenhill, about her hexagons. I'm also a big fan of those! Wheels are turning for a hexagon tree now, lol.
